SCOPED TO BE BUILT IN NUMBERS.

Velitor is designed around one engagement class: jet-powered one-way attack drones threatening a defended site. It does not try to do everything. That focus is what lets it be produced in numbers and bought in numbers.

Ordnance electronics, the subsystem where lethality and safety are decided, are a core Ferrus discipline and a capability we are building in house. The production line is engineered alongside the airframe from the first drawing.

02 / Design
01

FOCUSED

One engagement class, and everything designed for it.

02

AFFORDABLE BY DESIGN

Cost is set at the drawing through scope, shared parts and production tooling.

03

INTEGRATES

Planned to work with existing site sensors and fire control instead of requiring a new stack.

04

SUPPORTED

Training, field support and repair planned with the first hardware.

04 / Platform

Velitor is built on the Ferrus common spine: shared avionics, software, interfaces and production.

  • AIRFRAMES AND TOOLING: Common structures, and the tooling to make them at rate.
  • AVIONICS: One family of flight and mission electronics across every product.
  • FLIGHT AND MISSION SOFTWARE: One software base, built to improve with every flight of every product.
  • COMMON CANISTER INTERFACE: A standard mechanical and electrical interface for launch and integration.
  • UNIFIED TEST-DATA LOOP: Every test feeds one dataset that every product line learns from.
  • PRODUCTION AND SUPPORT: One line, one quality system, one support model.
