DESIGN FOR PRODUCTION
Every part is drawn for the process that will make it: shared components, fewer unique parts, tolerances that hold at rate.

MANUFACTURING
Manufacturing is the backbone of Ferrus. We engineer the line and the hardware together, from the first drawing.
A weapon that cannot be built in numbers is a prototype. Rate, cost and quality are decided at the drawing board. We engineer the product and the line together, so they arrive together.

01
Every part is drawn for the process that will make it: shared components, fewer unique parts, tolerances that hold at rate.

02
Fixtures, jigs and test stands are designed with the product, so the first unit is built the way the thousandth will be.

03
Automated and robotic cells wherever they improve rate, repeatability and safety, planned into the floor from the start.

04
Every part, process step, inspection and test result, recorded and traceable from drawing to field.

05
A quality management system designed to AS9100 requirements from day one, with software keeping the records so engineers can engineer.

06
Domestic sources prioritized for major subsystems, with second sources planned before scale.

Ferrus intends to make in house everything that decides performance, cost and schedule, starting with ordnance electronics. Buying at entry is how we move fast. Building in house is how we stay fast.
Ferrus is led by a CEO who spent fifteen years with the Department of the Navy taking weapons systems, telemetry and avionics from prototype to fleet delivery, and a CTO with nearly a decade of counter-UAS and missile engineering.

Ferrus is a Utah-based company, drawing on a deep aerospace and defense workforce.
